As a small village, we rely on the whole community volunteering time and effort, in different ways, to support life in Midlem. Right through the year there is a range of volunteer-led activity to bring our small community together, for the betterment of all. We encourage everyone in Midlem to get involved in some way.

Village Hall Committee SCIO
'Midlem Village Hall SCIO' (SC048199) exists to provide and maintain Midlem Village Hall and common lands, and to organise activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Midlem and environs in the Scottish Borders, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, for recreation, leisure and educational purposes of all kinds with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants. Midlem and environs refers to all living in postcode areas TD7 4QA and TD7 4QL. It is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, governed by a Committee of Trustees elected at the AGM.
